Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy explains how Michigan Hydrovac ("we," "us") handles information on michiganhydrovac.com. We are a quote-request and referral service. We are not a contractor and do not perform excavation work.
Information we collect
- Information you submit: the details you enter in our quote request form, such as your name, phone number, email, ZIP code or job location, company name, and project details.
- Emails: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you tell us.
- Usage data: like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, if enabled) may collect your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar technical data using cookies or similar technologies.
How we use it
- To pass your request to one or more independent companies that may be able to quote or perform the work.
- To contact you about your request.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
How we share it
When you submit a request, we share your information with one or more independent service providers so they can contact you by phone, text, or email about your project. Those companies are separate businesses with their own privacy practices. We may be compensated by them. We also use service providers that host this website and process form submissions. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your information to data brokers.
Your choices
- You can ask us to delete your information or stop contacting you by emailing [email protected]. We'll also ask any company we've already shared your request with to stop, but you may need to contact them directly too.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser. To opt out of Google Analytics, you can use Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Data retention and security
We keep quote requests only as long as reasonably needed to handle them and for our business records, and we take reasonable steps to protect them. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date shows the latest version.
